IEP Advocacy
We Do It Better!
An Individual Education Plan (IEP) is designed for students with developmental or maturational delays or learning challenges who attend public school. The IEP process creates an opportunity for teachers, parents, school administrators, related services personnel, and students (when appropriate) to meet and work together to improve a child’s achievement in school. A strong IEP is the cornerstone a quality education for each child who qualifies for special education services through a school district.
SNRG Special Education experts work with parents and the team of teachers and therapists to design an IEP that is both challenging and manageable for a child or teen. We also help parents figure out what other services, outside of school, may be needed for continued growth and progress. IEP meetings are conducted annually, but IEP teamwork is ongoing to ensure that each child is growing, learning, and happy at school.
IEP meetings should always be positive and fully focused on the strengths and challenges of a child or teen.
